About MELT

According to meltmethod.com: The MELT Method® (MELT®) is a simple self-treatment that reduces chronic pain and helps you stay healthy, youthful, and active for a lifetime. Just 10 minutes of MELT three times a week is all you need to begin reducing the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by daily living.

When I first learned about MELT and felt what it did for me and my body, I knew I needed to bring the MELT METHOD to as many people as I could.

My journey into fitness started late in life. I was 30 years old and my body was desperately out of shape. My lifestyle activities centered on caring for my children, one of them autistic. I began going to the gym to have a little “me time” and had great success in group exercise classes. In 2005 I became certified as a Group Fitness Instructor and began teaching what I enjoyed doing. A few years later I met Sue Hitzman at an IDEA convention and have found that MELT is the missing link to true fitness.

MELT has given me the “body awareness and balance” that is regrettably absent in the traditional exercise program. The MELT Method focuses on a dehydration of the connective tissue that causes issues everywhere. When that connective tissue breaks down you have trouble. I want to share this positive experience with others. Whatever you do, I know MELT can make you better at it.

Jeanette teaches MELT Classes at the Tustin Area Senior Center on Tuesdays @ 3:30pm ($7 drop in fee)
